നമ്മുടെ ദിനംപ്രതിയുള്ള ജീവിത സാഹചര്യത്തിലെ അനേകം കാര്യങ്ങളും ക്രിസ്തുവിൻ്റെ നിഴലുകളാണ്. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന്, നാം കഴിക്കുന്ന ആഹാരം ഒരു നിഴലാണ്, അത് യഥാർത്ഥ ആഹാരമല്ല. യഥാർത്ഥ ആഹാരം ക്രിസ്തുവാണ്. ക്രിസ്തു തന്നെയാണ് യഥാർത്ഥ പാനീയവും. നമ്മെ മറയ്ക്കുവാനും, ഭംഗിപ്പെടുത്തുവാനും, ഊഷ്മളമായി സൂക്ഷിക്കുവാനും നാം ധരിക്കുന്ന വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും ക്രിസ്തുവിൻ്റെ നിഴലാണ്. നമ്മുടെ നഗ്നതയെ യാഥാർത്ഥമായ് മറയ്ക്കുന്നവനും, നമ്മെ ഊഷ്മളമായി സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനും, നമുക്ക് സൗന്ദര്യം നൽകുന്നവനും ക്രിസ്തുവാണ്. ക്രിസ്തു തന്നെയാണ് നമ്മുടെ യഥാർത്ഥ വാസസ്ഥലവും യഥാർത്ഥ വിശ്രമവും. നാം താമസിക്കുന്ന വീടുകൾ നമ്മുടെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ ക്രിസ്തുവിൻ്റെ നിഴലാണ്. രാത്രിയിൽ നാം ആസ്വദിക്കുന്ന വിശ്രമവും നമ്മുടെ വിശ്രമമായ ക്രിസ്തുവിൻ്റെ ഒരു പ്രതിരൂപമാണ്. ഒരു നല്ല ഭക്ഷണത്തിന് ശേഷം നാം ആസ്വദിക്കുന്ന തൃപ്തി പോലും യഥാർത്ഥ തൃപ്തിയല്ല, മറിച്ച് തൃപ്തിയുടെ യാഥാർഥ്യമായ ക്രിസ്തുവിൻ്റെ നിഴലാണ്. നമ്മുടെ ദിനംതോറുമുള്ള ജീവിതത്തിലും, ആഴ്ചതോറുമുള്ള ജീവിതത്തിലും, മാസംതോറുമുള്ള ജീവിതത്തിലും, വർഷംതോറുമുള്ള ജീവിതത്തിലുമുള്ള എല്ലാ അനുലോമമായ കാര്യങ്ങളും ക്രിസ്തുവായിരിക്കണം. ക്രിസ്തു കേവലം ഒരു ഉപദേശകരമായ നിലയിലല്ല, മറിച്ച് അനുഭവത്തിന്റെ നിലയിൽ നമുക്ക് സകലവുമായിത്തീരണം. ക്രിസ്തു എന്റെ പൂർത്തീകരണവും, എന്റെ വിശ്രമവും, എന്റെ പുതിയ തുടക്കവും, എന്റെ ആസ്വാദനവും, എന്റെ സന്തോഷവും, എന്റെ ഭക്ഷണവും, എന്റെ പാനീയവും, എന്റെ തൃപ്തിയുമാണെന്ന് എനിക്ക് സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ കഴിയും. ക്രിസ്തു സാർവത്രികമായി വിശാലനാണെങ്കിലും, നമ്മുടെ പ്രായോഗികമായ ദിനംതോറുമുള്ള ജീവിതത്തിലെ എല്ലാ വിശദാംശങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള വശങ്ങളും അവൻ തന്നെയാണ്. ദിനംപ്രതി, അവൻ നമ്മുടെ ശ്വാസവും നമുക്ക് സകലവുമാകുന്നു.

Words of Ministry
Many things in our environment of daily living are also shadows of Christ. For example, the food we eat is a shadow, not the real food. The real food is Christ. Christ is also the real drink. The clothing we wear to cover us, to beautify us, and to keep us warm is also a shadow of Christ. Christ is the One who truly covers our nakedness, who keeps us warm, and who imparts beauty to us. Christ is also our true dwelling place and real rest. The houses in which we live are a shadow of Christ as our dwelling place. The rest we enjoy at night is also a figure of Christ as our rest. Even the satisfaction we enjoy after a good meal is not the real satisfaction, but a shadow of Christ as the reality of satisfaction. I can testify that Christ is my completion, my rest, my new beginning, my enjoyment, my joy, my food, my drink, and my satisfaction. Although Christ is universally vast, He is also all the detailed aspects of our practical daily living. Day by day, He is our breath and everything to us.
