ശുശ്രൂഷയിലെ വചനങ്ങൾ
[ഭാഗം 3] "അതിരുകടന്ന് തന്റെ സഹോദരനെ" എന്നത് സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായുള്ള വ്യഭിചാരത്തെ പരാമർശിക്കുന്നു. യവനഭാഷയിൽ "മുതലെടക്കരുത്" എന്നതിന് ലാഭം നേടുക, അതിനാൽ ചതിക്കുക എന്നും അർത്ഥമുണ്ട്; "ഈ വിഷയത്തിൽ" എന്നതുകൊണ്ട് 3-ാം വാക്യത്തിൽ പരാമർശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പരസംഗം എന്ന വിഷയത്തെയാണ് പൗലോസ് അർത്ഥമാക്കുന്നത്. അതിരുകടന്ന് മറ്റുള്ളവരെ മുതലെടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലുള്ള ഈ കാര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് പക പോക്കുന്നവൻ കർത്താവാകുന്നു എന്നും 6-ാം വാക്യത്തിൽ പൗലോസ് പറയുന്നു. കർത്താവ് നീതി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന, പകപോക്കുന്നവായി, ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനായി, പരസംഗത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുന്നവരെയും വ്യഭിചാരികളെയും ന്യായംവിധിക്കുന്നു. പരസംഗത്തിൽ എപ്പോഴും വിവാഹ ബന്ധത്തിന്റെ നിയമത്തെ അതിരുകടക്കുന്നത് ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. സ്ത്രീയും പുരുഷനും തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധം ദൈവത്താൽ നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടതാണ്. വിവാഹം എന്നത് ദൈവത്താൽ നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടതും അവന്റെ കർശനമായ നിയമത്തിൻ കീഴിലുള്ളതുമായ ഒരു വിശുദ്ധ കാര്യമാകുന്നു. അതിനാൽ, സ്ത്രീയും പുരുഷനും തമ്മിലുള്ള സമ്പർക്കം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിയമനത്തിനും നിയമത്തിനും അനുസരിച്ചായിരിക്കണം. അല്ലാത്തപക്ഷം ഏതെങ്കിലും തരത്തിലുള്ള ലംഘനമോ, അതിരുകടക്കുന്നതോ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിക്കുന്നതോ ഉണ്ടായേക്കാം. പരസംഗത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ടൊഴിയുവാനുള്ള അപ്പൊസ്തലന്റെ ആജ്ഞ വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്മേൽ അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെട്ടതും (വാ. 3), വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്താൽ ശക്തീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടതും (വാ. 4), ഇവിടെ [വാ. 7-ൽ] വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തോടെ ഉപസംഹരിക്കപ്പെട്ടതുമാകുന്നു, കാരണം പരസംഗം, ഏറ്റവും അശുദ്ധമായ ഒന്നെന്ന നിലയിൽ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ വിശുദ്ധ സ്ഥാനത്തെയും സ്വഭാവത്തെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. Sanctification versus Fornication (3)

1 Thes 4:6 That no one overstep and take advantage of his brother in the matter, because the Lord is the avenger concerning all these things, even as we also said before to you and solemnly charged.
v. 7 For God has not called us for uncleanness but in sanctification.
Heb 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Words of Ministry
[Part 3 of 4] "Overstep...his brother" refers to adultery with the brother's wife. In Greek "take advantage of" also means make a gain of; hence, defraud. By "the matter" Paul means the matter of fornication, mentioned in verse 3. In verse 6 Paul also says that the Lord is the avenger concerning these things, things such as overstepping and taking advantage of others. The Lord judges the fornicators and adulterers as an avenger, as a punisher, meting out justice. Fornication always involves overstepping the regulation of the marriage relationship. The relationship between male and female was ordained by God. Marriage is a holy matter that was ordained by God and is under His strict regulation. Therefore, the contact between male and female must be according to God's ordination and regulation. Otherwise there may be some kind of transgression, overstepping, breaking of God's regulation. The apostle's charge to abstain from fornication is based upon sanctification (v. 3), strengthened by sanctification (v. 4), and concluded here [in v. 7] with sanctification, because fornication, as the most unclean thing, destroys the holy standing and character of God's called saints.
