ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അവകാശി

റോമർ 8:17 മക്കൾ എങ്കിൽ അവകാശികളും ആകുന്നു; ഒരുവശത്ത്, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അവകാശികൾ മറുവശത്ത്, ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ കൂട്ടവകാശികൾ; നാം അവനോടുകൂടെ തേജസ്കരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന് തീർ ച്ചയായും നാം അവനോടുകൂടെ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നെങ്കിലത്രേ.

a. അവനോടുകൂടെ കൂട്ടവകാശികൾ
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വ്യവസ്ഥയിൽ സകലത്തെയും അവകാശമാക്കുവാൻ നിയമാനുസൃതമായി അവകാശിയായി ക്രിസ്തു നിയുകതമാക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു (എബ്രാ. 1:2). അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രനായ യിസ്ഹാക്ക് എന്നപോലെ അവൻ ഭൂമിയെയും (സങ്കീ. 2:8), രാജ്യത്തെയും (ദാനീ. 7:13-14), സിംഹാസനത്തെയും (ലൂക്കൊ. 1:32), സകലത്തെയും (മത്തായി 11:27) അവകാശമാക്കും. അവൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അവകാശി, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിയമാനുസൃതമായ അവകാശി പോലും ആയതിനാൽ, പിതാവായ ദൈവം ആയിരിക്കുന്നതും അവനുള്ളതു എല്ലാം ക്രിസ്തുവിനുള്ളതാണ് (യോഹ. 16:15). ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ പുത്രനായ ക്രിസ്തു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിയുക്തമാക്കപ്പെട്ട അവകാശിയാണ്, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിരവധി പുത്രന്മാരായ നാം, ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ കൂട്ടവകാശികളാകുവാൻ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

The Heir of God
Romans 8:17
Rm 8:17 And if children, heirs also; on the one hand, heirs of God; on the other, joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him that we may also be glorified with Him.
Excerpts from the CNT:
Romans 8:17 goes on to say, “If children, heirs also; on the one hand, heirs of God; on the other, joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him that we may also be glorified with Him.” This verse reveals that Christ is the Heir of God. It also unveils that we too are the heirs of God, for we are the joint heirs with Christ to inherit God Himself in His glory as our inheritance.
a. Joint Heirs with Him
Christ was designated as the legal Heir to inherit all things in God’s economy (Heb. 1:2). He, as Isaac, the son of Abraham, will inherit the earth (Psa. 2:8), the kingdom (Dan. 7:13-14), the throne (Luke 1:32), and all things (Matt. 11:27). Since He is the Heir of God, even the legal Heir of God, all that God the Father is and has is for His possession (John 16:15). Christ, the firstborn Son of God, is the appointed Heir of God, and we, the many sons of God, have been saved to be joint heirs with Christ. [3080]
b. Glorified with Him
Romans 8:17 shows that there is a condition for us to be heirs. It is not that we are heirs simply because we are children of God. Rather, after being born as children, we must grow in life to become sons, and then we must pass through suffering that we may be glorified to become legal heirs. If we suffer with Him, we will be glorified with Him. Genuine growth in the divine life requires suffering. The more we suffer with Christ, the more we grow and the faster we are matured to be joint heirs with Christ.
